Expanded Class Information

I should start by saying, I am not to be held responsible for what you choose to do with the information I share. Always do your own research and ask questions! I have dedicated my life to mycology, to understand this kingdom, myself, others and the world around me. Like many things in my life, I am self taught. I have spent countless hours reading books by Paul Stamets, Merlin Sheldrake, and Peter McCoy, to name some favorites. I have spent countless hours watching documentaries by the World Science Festival, Hamilton Morris and other various collaborations. I do my best to fact check, to find multiple unrelated sources so I can have the largest picture of what I am studying. Possibly just as important, of all the countless hours finding outside sources, I have close to 15 years of experience with this medicine at this time.

In combination of my personal experience and the research hours spent, I have finally gained the confidence to share my knowledge. Thus, my classes were born. I have four classes, with two expanded options making for a total of six. I get many questions from the community wondering what class is best for them. I decided to write this as a deeper, but still overview, of the offerings I have.

The first class I share with people when they are new to this work is the Little Steps Workshop. This is the absolute beginner class. Those who are just finding out about mushrooms. The ones who maybe have eaten shrooms before and don't understand how people seem to be getting so much more out of the experience. The ones who have been using this medicine and want to know how to go deeper. The ones who have always used mushrooms recreationally as shrooms/a drug, and don't even know there is more to this whole thing.

I've had clients ask, "I have a friend who eats shrooms and goes out partying. Are there any tips you have to get them to understand this is a medicine?" Or, "I have a friend that works at a bar, has a crazy life and has been using mushrooms. They realize there might be more to eating mushrooms, but they are feeling a little lost." Or, "I now see this as a medicine but I don't have the option to sit with this medicine as often as I need/want. Is there anything else I can do in my practice?"

If any of these statements resonate with you or someone you know, Little Steps Workshop would be a great place to start. I speak about, what a mushroom is, as I have found many people are unaware of what they truly are or classified as. I share many techniques like breathing, self care, what intention can look like. I talk about subtle shifts and drawing awareness to it. I go over our habits and patterns, as many of them can be formed from our traumas and is not actually who we are. Speaking upon the default mode network, what it means to be present and how to do so in our daily life.

The next class I turn people to is my ENI Program. It is actually where Elemental Shifts began. Education, Navigation and Integration. The Three Pillars is what I call them. I noticed with this boom of psychedelics, these categories are being overlooked or not even taken into consideration. Within this offering I have the one hour overview and the three hour deep dive class.

If you have, what I consider, "heard the call" and decided to answer but unsure of how to begin, this class will help you unpack and learn much of what you need to know to use this medicine safely. If you have been communing with this medicine and feel you are ready to do the deep work needed for expansion and healing, this is the perfect class! I will be touching on or dissecting each pillar depending on the class length.

For the Education portion I will speak about strains and potency, importance of knowing the hands who cultivated the medicine. What a micro-dose is, a journey, what the difference is and what the effects may be. Energy, how to move it, purging and what it can look like. Understanding trauma, the different kinds, how it can manifest, how to ask the questions for healing to start, being aware of triggers and how to hold space. As for the Navigation portion, I go deeper into some of these concepts. How to find a navigator, guide or space holder and what some questions are to see if they are aligned in your journey. Expanding heavily on the trauma segment we discussed in the Education part. What tools can translate over from your journey to help with hiccups you may have. Learning about what it means to surrender to receive. The Integration portion might be the simplest concept yet the hardest to practice. I will share parts of my journey, and how this medicine helped in my life. I will touch on 'homework' to help during this journey. The importance of community and how to find or create one.

My All Things Micro-dosing class can be taken at any time in your journey. Although I do like having at least one of the above classes taken first in order to feel confident in the information and have as much understanding as possible before deciding if you would like to incorporate into your practice. With that said, this class is open to anyone interested in micro-dosing. Whether you have been using this medicine for a while or have never tried mushrooms and would like information about this 'hot trend'.

Because this class is open to any level, I do start at the basics. When I speak about this medicine I do use words you may not be familiar with so I like to start with vocabulary. Definition of micro-dosing, what is journeying, what are the effects of both. What is a mushroom, differences of strains, blends that can be used and how to make your own. The ways to micro-dose, subtle shifts and many 'homework' ideas to build a better relationship with yourself and this medicine.

Finally, I have my Cultivation Class! Again, it is open to the public although I do suggest you attend at least one of the previous classes. Cultivation for me is a way to connect with my medicine, with every process of its life. I love watching them grow and all the stages they go through. It helped me understand deeper about myself and bring principals of cultivation into my daily life. This class also has two levels, a beginner and advanced. The advanced simply means you have previous cultivation knowledge and would like to take it to the next level. These classes are for home grows not industrial. While they are geared towards home cultivation, you can use many of the concepts and blueprints and scale up to the size you are working with.

In this class, I will go over mycology vocabulary, talk again about, what a mushroom is but more so from the standpoint of its lifecycle, all the growth stages, environment and nature. I will speak about the differences of buying your materials verses building them. I will give you a supply list and step by step instructions of how to use each item. One is the premade basics, the other is how to build, modify and source your materials from scratch. Within this section I will talk about controlled environments and open space, as well as all the processes from working with genetics to harvesting. Even share my favorite books to help along the way!

Words cannot express how full my heart is being able to share my knowledge with fellow mycophiles! I hope after reading this you come to have a better understanding of myself and my offerings. If one resonates with you, I hope you will join me for an event or a one on one session! Whether you decide to have a one on one or come to an event, be sure you have a way to take notes! This is key! Usually I see people taking 2 or 3 pages of notes sometimes those pages are front and back. I have also been putting together topic based workbooks and information sheets for those who take any of the classes incase you have forgotten your note taking material.

The time is now! This is where it all begins!

With Love,

Ileah Taylor
